The CalArts AIGA student group strives:

The CalArts AIGA student group was formed in November 2002. There are approximately 15-20 student members. To get involved you can contact Bijan Berahimi or Chris Burnett, you can find their contact information on the right under members.

At the start of the school year, we host a kick off BBQ for all of the design students and faculty. It’s an evening of music, food, and conversation for all years levels including graduated and undergraduate design students. We also host the annual CalArts AIGA t-shirt show. We print over 500 silk-screened t-shirts designed by students, faculty, and design lecturers. This event serves as a very imporant fundraiser and mixer for our AIGA group. We are also maintaining e-mail correspondence with other AIGA student groups with the hopes of initiating a collaborative project for sometime in the near future.
